ICMS Conferences

The ICMS conference series aims to present and disseminate advances across a broad spectrum of contemporary fundamental and applied mathematics, and to foster the development of emerging and innovative directions in mathematical research.

The conferences organized by the ICMS–Sofia aim to provide a vibrant platform for the presentation and exchange of recent research developments in contemporary mathematics. They bring together leading experts, early-career researchers, and graduate students to foster collaboration and explore frontiers in both fundamental and applied mathematics.

Each conference is devoted to a specific theme or emerging area, reflecting the interdisciplinary spirit of the ICMS. Topics span a wide range of fields, including but not limited to algebraic geometry, mathematical logic, topology, mathematical physics, number theory, and theoretical computer science. The events are structured to encourage interaction, featuring invited talks, contributed presentations, and ample time for informal discussions. By combining scientific excellence with an open and inclusive atmosphere, the ICMS conferences aim to support the growth of international research networks and to inspire new ideas across disciplines.
