International Conference celebrating Yakov Eliashberg’s 80th birthday

This is a traditional conference aiming to bring together leading senior researchers and promising early-career scholars working in the field of symplectic and complex geometry and to popularize recent developments and new achievements in this field.

The conference will commemorate Yakov Eliashberg’s 80th birthday featuring his remarkable contributions in the field of symplectic and contact topology. The event also seeks to provide an opportunity for young scholars from South-Eastern Europe to engage with cutting-edge research in this area and to meet and interact with leading experts from around the world.

The event is jointly organized by the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS-Sofia) at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and the Institute for the Mathematical Sciences of the Americas (IMSA) at the University of Miami.
